Default noob question

i'm currently a level 18 wammo, the only way I can see to get to droks is going from beacons thru lorners. but even with a full group of henchies I dont' get very far.
Is there another way to get to droks? a mission maybe? or do I have to sprint/run there? or do I have to kill my way there.

I hear alot of people say that troll farming is for exp, but if i have to be lvl 20 just to get there, i don't see much sense in that.

any input would be great thanks.

You can pay someone to run you there. Otherwise you have to continue on with the game. You get to Drok's normally by completing the Desert area's I believe.

Its almost impossible to use henchs from Beacons because they are not lvl 20. Once in a great while a group can fight thru but it takes a looooong time. The distance may look short on the map, but believe me, its not short at all.

ask your guildies to fight there, or if some1 is nice enouth, run there. at this point you should have a good guild.

or pay 2k for a run

just continue doing missions...if you don't know how to get to droks then imo, you shouldn't be there. Running is great if you've been through the game before and know the story line but its pretty sad when some people in droks don't even know who the white mantle are...and others in the southern shiverpeak missions are like 'wtf white mantle are attacking us!'

basically, just do the missions in order, after sanctum cay you'll go to the desert, complete all the desert missions, go to augury and ascend by fighting yourself, beat dragon's lair and then you'll go to droks how it was intended to be gone through. You may spend more time waiting for the max armor but you'll be saving 2-3k and even make more money on the way there, by the time you get there you should have plenty of money to get your armor.

It makes me sad to see questions like this being asked in Camp Rankor:

You can sometimes find a very skilled runner to take you there. The downfall of that is it is going to cost you a lot of gold... a lot of gold. If you can fight your way there with henchies, my hats off to you, but it probably will not happen... good luck. It is much easier and more beneficial if you just do all of the missions on the way there. Kryta and the Crystal Desert. Once you get to droks, have someone take you to the Iron Mines to ge infused, then do the Thunderhead Keep mission to get to Ember Light Camp on the Fire Islands.

you can't fight to droks with henchs at beacons. Those henchs are way to low level. Creatures along the way are designed to face a whole group of level 20's.

You get to droks either from a runner at beacons for 3-4k or you play the game. Just play the missions in order and you'll get there easy.

You know what? I don`t think he`s looking for a run, I think he`s asking how to proceed in the game. So before everyone gets on their high and mighty about how someone else should enjoy their $50 purchase....

Do the quests in Beacon`s Perch:
To Kryta: Refugees
To Kryta: The Ice Cave
To Kryta: Journey`s End

It`s been a long while since I have done any of these so I don`t know if they need to be done in order but the last quest will get you to the Gates of Kryta which is where the next mission is located. Right now your less than half way through the game.

To get to droks the way they intended is to complete the desert, after doing so u will accend an go to a town called Dragons liar. Completing dragons liar will send u to droks. There are many tip and free runners to droks from beacons i would book a run its worth it to get the best armor ealry

Don't get a runner if it's your first time trough. Go with the story line, go to kryta, do the jungle thing, go to the dessert and do the dessert thing (at this point in time you will learn that the difficulty and the stakes have been raised), after the dessert missions you will be in Droks, with still a lot of missions to do with your new and shiny armour (which cost 1,5k per piece btw, so even if you have enough money to get run there, you still need a lot to get the full armour and if you do the story line to this point you will have enough to get your dr0ks armour).

Or, if you really want the armour and have Factions, do "To Kryta" then the Gates of Kryta mission, then in LA take the quest "Welcome to Cantha" and when you're in Cantha, buy your armour in the first town you set foot on.

Stya with the storyline. Now, with that said what I did was pay to get run to drok's, got armor, and then went back to beacon's and continued with the storyline.

It's about the journey and not the end. You paid money for the game, at least enjoy what you paid for (once).
